Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Displays Olympic Spirit

WILLISTON, VT – In true Olympic spirit, Lenny’s customers went for the gold and raised $4,029 for local athletes with intellectual disabilities.

Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel held their 6th annual Olympic donation event, and the store and its customers collectively raised $3,229 for Special Olympics Vermont and $800 for Special Olympics New York. Lenny’s Marketing Director Amanda Cashin presented that donation to Michelle Gates, Senior Vice President of Special Olympics Vermont.

Over the past six years, Lenny’s has donated over $36,000 to the Special Olympics.

“Supporting local organizations is something our staff and customers are passionate about,” said Cashin. “This is a tight-knit community where we can all ban together and make a big difference. By supporting local athletes with intellectual disabilities we can share the joy of sport within our community.”
