Shop the "Day Before Thanksgiving Charity Sale" to Save Big and Support the Vermont Foodbank

Barre, VT - Lenny's Shoe and Apparel and the Vermont Foodbank are encouraging holiday shoppers to get out early this year and participate in the Day before Thanksgiving Charity Sale on Wednesday, November 21, 2012.

With use of a pre-purchased VIP ticket, shoppers will receive exclusive savings storewide. Additionally, 100% of the ticket sales benefit the Vermont Foodbank, so Charity Sale shoppers will also be helping the Foodbank to provide food to our neighbors in need.

“With federal cuts to nutrition program, high unemployment, and the looming winter months, support for the Vermont Foodbank has never been more important,” said John Sayles, Vermont Foodbank CEO. “This week alone,  8,200 different Vermonters will walk through the doors at food shelves and meal sites in need of assistance and we are so grateful to Lenny's Shoe and Apparel for their continued support that is ensuring our ability to feed our neighbors in need.”

Previous Charity Sales at Lenny's have helped provide more than 68,000 meals for Vermont children, families and seniors who experience hunger. Advanced Charity Sale VIP tickets are now available for $5 at Lenny's stores in Barre, Williston and St. Albans. VIP tickets can be purchased for $10 on the day of the sale.
